The congregation of the sisters of  St.Ann was founded in 1847 by a pious  
      and noble couple Maquis and Marchioness of Borolo in Turin, Italy.

Blessed Mother Enrichetta Domenici as Superior General of the congregation of the Sisters of St. Ann, was instrumental in beginning the mission in Indian Soil in 1871 in Secunderabad.
